WILLAPA THRIFTWAY IS PART OF A THREE-GENERATION FAMILY GROCERY STORE BUSINESS DEDICATED TO BRINGING THE COMMUNITIES WE SERVE THE FINEST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE AVAILABLE.
We care about the communities we serve and the employees who serve them. While we are a resource for each location, it is the local store managers and associates who run each store and decides how best to service their local area. That said, we are all connected by a desire to create a shopping experience you can trust and rely on. To that end, each store follows these simple, but important rules:
RULE #1
If you're not Happy, neither are we!
If any of our products don’t meet your expectations, please return it with your receipt for a full refund. If you don’t have your receipt, that's not a problem, a full store credit will gladly be issued.
RULE #2
Your Time is our Time.
We understand we all don’t run on the same clock. Some run fast...some run slow. That’s why we open our doors at least 5 minutes before opening time and we don’t close them until at least 5 minutes past closing time. It's the neighborly thing to do.
RULE #3
Try It….You’ll Like it
There are new and exciting items appearing almost daily in our stores and most of us have no idea just how they taste. So, please ask us for a sample of any non-sealed item and we will gladly share. We’re sure you’ll agree they are all amazing, but how else will you know for sure.
RULE#4
You don’t need to wait until you buy it.
We realize you may get hungry or thirsty while shopping our store. It’s inevitable given all of the amazing food and drink before you. So feel free to eat or drink whatever you feel the urge to. Just save the wrapper or container to be rung up when you leave. Alcohol, while tempting, is excluded.
RULE#5
LOCAL, LOCAL and LOCAL
We go out of our way to support local farmers, ranchers and craftsmen. They are one of the most valuable resources of the communities we serve. So, if there’s a local item we don’t carry, please let us know and we will do what we can to stock it.
AND LAST, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY...
RULE #6
We need to be more than a store…. we need to be part of the community.
We believe social responsibility is a major part of doing business in the communities we serve and we focus our involvement around the needs of local kids and families. It truly does take a village sometimes and we are here to help.
